A significant advancement in energy-efficient cold printing technology has emerged: JUUPINE’s latest Sky Blue cold printing platform, set to debut in 2025, features a groundbreaking spray mechanism that allows for low-temperature printing across various materials. Engineers were astonished, exclaiming, “Oh my God,” and subsequently dubbed it “OMG.” Within a controlled setting, PLA materials can be printed directly at temperatures ranging from 20°C to 35°C, while PETG materials can be processed at temperatures between 40°C and 60°C. In an uncontrolled environment, only an extra 10°C is required.
Please be aware that because of the unique composition of this cold printing plate, it is not suitable for printing materials that require high temperatures, and the temperature of the heated bed should not exceed 80°C.
The bonding surface in a sky blue texture is made from stainless steel and features a unique double-sided design. This setup not only ensures superior adhesion and effective cold printing but also adds visual appeal, showcasing a lively sky blue hue that reflects the whimsical texture of the sky within a small area. As printing commences, the underside of the print reveals a smooth, high-quality matte look, which improves the overall appearance of the final item.
Be aware that the blue hue of the sky won’t carry over to the lower part of the print; instead, the bottom will show the filament’s natural color with a somewhat rough texture.
This heated print bed works with all Bambu Lab models: It is designed for Bambu Lab 3D printers and has dimensions of 257x257mm, making it suitable for popular printers like the P2S, X1, A1, P1S, X1C, X1E, and P1P.
Broad material compatibility: The system allows for printing with a variety of filaments, including popular 1.75mm options such as PLA and PETG. Simple setup and minimal upkeep: Just position the cold print surface on the heated bed and it’s good to use. Just clean it with water or alcohol prior to use.
